COACH CARTER COLLINS’S COMMENTS
I’m definitely proud of the team’s perseverance [on Wednesday]. Manchester started out the game extremely hot from 3-point range, raining them in from what felt like everywhere, and we were in a hole early. To add to the problems, we weren’t playing our best basketball on the offensive side of the court either. We managed to tread water throughout the end of the first half, regrouped at half time, and came out and played the second half more like we intended to. Road wins in the conference are never easy to come by, and we managed to grab a big one [on Wednesday].
