Elijah Stires was named the Anderson XCTF Athlete of the Meet. Stires set PR’s in both the 200 and 400. He also earned sixth place in the college division of the 400.

COACH NIC HUFFMAN’S COMMENTS

We had a lot of good things going on. There are many things we need to fix and get consistent with, but I was pumped to see how many athletes were putting their events together and competing at a higher level. Their hard work and focus in practice have been paying off and their confidence level is rising. We are looking better each week, and with such a young team, that is what I want to see right now. I’m excited to see what we do for the home crowd next week!
