Bennett, Peacock Lead Manchester to 4th at TRC Championships

Cale Bennett and Cam Peacock delivered strong performances to lead the Manchester boys’ swim team to a fourth-place finish at the Three Rivers Conference Championships.

Bennett highlighted the meet with a runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly and a third-place showing in the 200 freestyle. Peacock also made key contributions, finishing 6th in the 500 freestyle and 5th in the 100 breaststroke.

Manchester’s relay teams had a strong showing as well:

  • The 200 medley relay team of Gabe Selleck, Cam Peacock, Cale Bennett, and Jet Thomas finished 4th.
  • The 200 freestyle relay team of Noah Macias, Marcus Harlan, Keagan Noland, and Evan Bennett earned 5th place.
  • The 400 freestyle relay team of Bennett, Selleck, Peacock, and Thomas placed 3rd.

The Squires will return to action next Wednesday at home against Fort Wayne Canterbury in their final meet before sectional competition.
