Blackford Secures Hard-Fought 54-52 Victory Over Mississinewa

Blackford High School’s varsity men’s basketball team held off Mississinewa for a narrow 54-52 victory at home on Friday night, improving to 7-5 overall and remaining undefeated at 4-0 in the Central Indiana Conference (CIC).

The Bruins were led by Gage Baker, who delivered a stellar performance with 21 points. Mason Kitterman added 18, and Mari Leggett contributed 13 points in the win. Jacob Dillon chipped in with 2 points, rounding out a strong team effort marked by high energy and determination from everyone who took the floor.

Blackford will return to action Saturday at Winchester, with the game tipping off at 7:30 p.m. at the field house.
