The Bruins Women’s Wrestling team made a strong showing at the inaugural IHSAA Women’s Wrestling Sectional at Muncie Central on Friday, finishing fourth out of 15 teams. The program will send four wrestlers to the Alexandria Regional next Friday after impressive individual performances.
Addison Flores led the way for the Bruins, claiming the Sectional Championship at 145 pounds. Flores dominated her matches to secure the top spot and advance to regionals with momentum.
Madison Henderson earned a runner-up finish at 105 pounds, showcasing her skills in a competitive weight class. Lily McCammon (110 pounds) and Sara Yoho (120 pounds) both battled through the consolation rounds to secure third-place finishes and regional berths.
