The Cougars dominated on both ends of the court Thursday evening, securing a convincing 49-25 victory over New Castle.
Addie Heacox led the offensive charge with 9 points, while also contributing 5 rebounds, 3 deflections, and an assist. Brooklyn Emmerling added 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists, rounding out a strong performance.
Paislee Brown and Aubrey Bush each chipped in 6 points, with Brown recording 5 deflections, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal. Bush added 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Additional scoring for the Cougars came from Brooklynn Study (6 points), Eloise Winkler (5 points), Hadley Hill (3 points), Abbey Malet (2 points), and Charlotte Sible (2 points).
The Cougars, showing depth and teamwork, will return home next Tuesday to face Muncie Central. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
