Greenfield-Central put on a dominant performance Friday night, defeating Hoosier Heritage Conference rival New Castle 72-50 on the road.
Senior standout Braylon Mullins led the Cougars with an impressive stat line, scoring 31 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and recording 6 steals. Senior point guard Boston Willard had a flawless outing, contributing 10 points, 6 assists, 4 steals, and committing no turnovers. Senior guard Mikey Johnson added 11 points and 6 rebounds, rounding out a balanced offensive attack.
Senior forward Dallas Freeman chipped in 8 points on 60% shooting while dishing out 2 assists. Senior guard Brady Johnson was perfect from the field, scoring 5 points and adding 2 steals and an assist. Junior Tucker Brown provided 5 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist, while Cooper Robertson rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
The Cougars (10-2) had seven players contribute offensively in the victory, showcasing depth and teamwork. Greenfield-Central will look to continue its momentum on Saturday night when they travel to face Hancock County rival Eastern Hancock.
