Indy Eleven announced the signing of forward Elvis Amoh, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 32-year-old Kumasi, Ghana, native brings six seasons of USL Championship experience, having previously played for Detroit City FC, Hartford Athletic, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, Rio Grande Valley FC, and Loudoun United FC. Amoh has made 134 appearances in the USLC, recording 42 goals and eight assists in regular-season and playoff action.
In 2024, Amoh helped Detroit City achieve a franchise-best #3 seed in the USLC Eastern Conference, contributing three goals and three assists in 1,000 minutes over 25 matches. He earned USLC “Team of the Week” honors on March 26 after assisting on a game-tying goal against Loudoun United.
Amoh’s most productive season came in 2022, when he scored a career-high 13 goals and added three assists for Colorado Springs, helping the Switchbacks reach the Western Conference Final. In 2021, he tallied 11 goals in 22 matches for Rio Grande Valley, with a strike rate of one goal every 120.5 minutes.
Before his USLC career, Amoh played in the Ghanaian Premier League with Asante Kotoko SC and the West African Football Academy. He also had stints with Capital City FC (Canada), SK Líšeň (Czech Republic), and Loudoun United, where he began his USLC journey in 2019.
Amoh becomes the fourth African player on Indy Eleven’s roster, joining Edward Kizza (Uganda), Antony Siaha (Cameroon), and Brem Soumaoro (Guinea/Liberia), and the fourth Ghanaian to represent the club.
Under first-year head coach Sean McAuley, Indy Eleven had a strong 2024 season, hosting their first home playoff game since 2019 and advancing to the semifinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
