Lady Indians Fall to Clinton Central in Holiday Tournament Opener

The Union City Lady Indians struggled to find offensive consistency in their Holiday Tournament opener, falling to Clinton Central 40-22 on Friday. Despite a solid defensive effort that forced turnovers, the Indians were unable to convert those opportunities into points and faced challenges at the free-throw line.

Gabby Ordonez led the Indians with 9 points, while Addy Pena Perez contributed seven. Ava Reichard anchored the team on the boards, pulling down six rebounds in the effort.

The Lady Indians will look to regroup and bounce back in their next tournament game, scheduled for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. as they aim to improve their offensive execution.
