The Warsaw girls basketball team learned their path in the upcoming 50th IHSAA Girls State Tournament, and they found out that they will have to wait a few extra days to play their first game.
Warsaw received a first-round bye and will play the winner of the Elkhart/Concord match-up in the second semifinal Friday, February 7 in the Tiger Den.
Elkhart and Concord meet Tuesday, February 4, at 7pm in the Tiger Den.
Northridge and Goshen will play in the first semifinal on February 7 at 6pm, followed by the Lady Tigers and Tuesday’s winner.
The championship is February 8 at 6pm.
Warsaw did not play Elkhart in the regular season, but beat the rest of the field on their way to their fourth consecutive Northern Lakes Conference title.
