Lady Warriors Split Games at Warsaw Holiday Tournament, Improve to 12-4

The Wawasee Lady Warriors went 1-1 at the Warsaw Holiday Tournament on Saturday, falling to Chesterton in the opener before bouncing back with a convincing win over New Haven in the second game.

In the first matchup, Wawasee struggled offensively, losing 41-26 to Chesterton. Mackenzie Hackleman led the Warriors with 14 points, while Molly Beer added 6.

The Lady Warriors rebounded in the second game, defeating New Haven 57-40 with a balanced scoring effort. Beer paced the team with 13 points, while Olivia Horn and Hackleman chipped in eight points apiece to secure the victory.

Wawasee now holds a 12-4 record and will return to action next Saturday, January 11th, when they host NorthWood. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
