The LaPorte Slicer Girls Wrestling team’s season came to an end Saturday at the Goshen Regional.
To advance to the state finals, wrestlers needed to win their first two matches. Aubrey Klettke and Anastasia O’Shea each secured a victory in their opening bouts but were defeated in the second round by eventual regional champions. Their performances earned them alternate spots for the state finals.
Cienna Jordan and Leah Williamson also represented LaPorte in the tournament, competing hard but falling in their first-round matches.
The Slicers concluded their season with determination and strong individual efforts, showcasing the program’s growth and resilience.
