Add another line to the resume of Notre Dame signee Leah Macy. On Monday, Macy was named to the East Team for the 2025 McDonald’s All-American Games.
Macy is a five-star recruit who is ranked No. 19 (No. 4 forward) in the 2025 class according to the ESPN HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings. She attends Bethlehem High School and hails from Elizabethtown, Ky. According to MaxPreps, Macy is averaging 26.7 points, 7.0 assists, 12.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game this year.
The forward has played in multiple national and international tournaments, including being selected last summer to play for the United States in the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup and in the Under Armour Next G Hoops Elite 24. Ironically, Karen and Kevin Keyes Family Head Coach Niele Ivey was the head coach for the U18 team, one which won a gold medal in Colombia.
There are seven McDonald’s All-Americans on the current Notre Dame roster — KK Branford, Sonia Citron, Hannah Hidalgo, Kate Koval, Emma Risch, Kylee Watson and Maddy Westbeld. Hidalgo was a co-MVP of the game two years ago.
The McDonald’s All American Games will be held on April 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The game begins at 6:30 p.m.
