The Manchester varsity boys’ basketball team improved to 12-1 on the season and 4-0 in the Three Rivers Conference with a commanding 65-18 victory over Wabash on Friday night.
The Squires set the tone early, opening the game with a 12-0 run and maintaining control throughout. Their suffocating defense forced the Apaches into more than 20 turnovers, fueling a dominant all-around performance.
Gavin Betten led Manchester with a standout 29-point performance, while Ethan Hendrix added 18 points. Aaron Reid chipped in 6 points, and Tallon Torpy and Carson Heath contributed 4 points each. Dallas Martin and Carter Wagoner rounded out the scoring with 2 points apiece.
Manchester will look to extend its TRC winning streak when it hosts Rochester on Friday.
