Men’s Bowlers Earn Postseason Honors

Wednesday, the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced it’s 2024-2025 all-conference bowling awards, and two members of the Marian University Ancilla Men’s Bowling team combined to earn multiple awards.

Freshman Ayden Stiles collected a number of awards in his first season with the Chargers. Because of his strong play, he was named to the MCCAA Western Division All-Conference team. Additionally, Ayden was added to the Western Division All-Freshman team, and he was named the MCCAA Western Division Freshman of the Year!! Ayden came to Marian Ancilla from Bedford, Indiana, where he attended nearby Mitchell High School.

Sophomore Gbolahon Olatoye has put together two strong years now for Charger Bowling. After being a part of the NJCAA Men’s Duo National Championship team last year, this season he was named to the MCCAA Western Division All-Conference team because of his individual play. Gbolahon is a graduate of Lorain High School in Lorain, Ohio.

Congratulations, gentlemen, on your outstanding awards from the season!! The entire Marian University Ancilla community is proud of you and wishes you luck on your pursuit of postseason success, beginning this weekend. If you are able, you can catch Ayden and Gbolahon in action this Friday at Merri-Bowl Lanes in Livonia, Michigan, as they participate in the MCCAA Conference Tournament. Action is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
