Munster High School’s varsity basketball team secured a 64-50 victory over Merrillville on Friday night, controlling the game from start to finish.
The Mustangs jumped out to a 19-12 lead in the first quarter and never relinquished their advantage. Josh Malloy led the charge with an impressive 27 points, while Tyler Fuller contributed 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Munster will look to continue its strong performance when it hosts Hobart next Friday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m.
