Purdue football has bolstered its offensive line with the addition of University of Manitoba transfer Giordano Vaccaro, marking the Boilermakers’ second north-of-the-border acquisition this offseason. Vaccaro, a standout lineman in U Sports, brings a decorated résumé, including the prestigious J.P. Metras Trophy for best lineman in Canadian amateur football.
Vaccaro, who began his football career at Clearwater (Fla.) Academy International, was part of the 2022 recruiting class before heading to Manitoba. He has been a dominant force since 2022 and will bring one year of eligibility to Purdue.
Vaccaro is the fourth offensive lineman to transfer to the Boilermakers this offseason, joining UNLV transfers Jalen St. John, Mason Vicari, and Hank Purvis. His addition provides depth and experience to Purdue’s offensive line as they prepare for the 2025 season.
