Ravens Turn in Five Personal Records in Wildcat Open

The Anderson University women’s track and field team turned in five personal records (PR’s) in Friday’s Wildcat Open in Marion.

Katie Ripberger was named the Anderson XCTF Athlete of the Meet. The Falmouth native set PR’s in both the 200- and 400-meter dash.

COACH NIC HUFFMAN’S COMMENTS

We had a lot of good things going on. There are many things we need to fix and get consistent with, but I was pumped to see how many athletes were putting their events together and competing at a higher level. Their hard work and focus in practice have been paying off and their confidence level is rising. We are looking better each week, and with such a young team, that is what I want to see right now. I’m excited to see what we do for the home crowd next week!
