COACH CARTER COLLINS’S COMMENTS
- It was a disappointing performance for our squad.
- I thought Rose-Hulman simply out-executed us and was definitely the team deserving of victory.
- In particular, offensively, I didn’t think that we got nearly good enough shots in the first half and that ultimately falls on me as the coach.
- We didn’t do a good enough job of forcing turnovers on defense until the second half when we were trying to speed up the tempo to get back in the game, but that’s always going to be hit or miss – we needed to play better earlier.
- The guys put in a good effort, and I need to do a better job of helping them out. We’ll get back after it in practice on Monday!
