The Warsaw Tigers swimming and diving teams delivered a commanding performance in their home meet against Columbia City on Monday night, with the boys winning 128-46 and the girls earning a decisive 133-40 victory. Both teams showcased their depth and skill, sweeping nearly every event on the program.
Girls Meet Highlights
The Tigers’ relay teams set the tone early, with the “A” team of Anna Stevens, Sydnee McCammon, Brooke Shimasaki, and Matilda Granger winning the 200-yard medley relay in 2:06.32. Stevens, a standout performer, continued her dominance in individual events, winning the 200 freestyle (2:07.45) and the 100 breaststroke (1:15.77).
Shimasaki added to Warsaw’s success, winning the 200 individual medley (2:27.06) and the 100 butterfly (1:07.55). Granger, another key contributor, took first in the 50 freestyle (27.14) and 100 freestyle (1:02.94). The Tigers capped the meet with a victory in the 400 freestyle relay, clocking 4:19.36.
In diving, Sophia Stewart led the way with a winning score of 197.80, followed by teammate Titiksha Gorhe in second place with 183.45.
Boys Meet Highlights
The Warsaw boys were equally dominant, starting with a win in the 200 medley relay as Diego Manwaring, Caelin Swinehart, Josh Warner, and Jonah Potter touched in 1:46.17. Manwaring later won the 50 freestyle (23.03) and 100 backstroke (1:02.08).
Griffin Brown emerged as the top performer, claiming victories in the 200 freestyle (1:50.91) and 100 butterfly (55.26). Warner secured first in the 200 individual medley (2:13.00), while Potter claimed the 500 freestyle (5:26.69).
In the 400 freestyle relay, the team of Warner, Potter, Swinehart, and Brown sealed the Tigers’ dominance with a winning time of 3:32.98.

Warsaw looks to continue its strong season as it heads into holiday training and prepares for upcoming conference competition in January. Columbia City will regroup as they aim to build on their performances in the new year.
