The Westfield boys varsity basketball team dominated Hamilton Southeastern in a conference matchup Friday night, earning a decisive 62-36 victory on the road.
The game was closely contested in the first quarter, with both teams playing evenly. However, the Rocks began to pull away in the second quarter, heading into halftime with an 8-point lead. Westfield controlled the game entirely in the second half, outpacing the Royals and cruising to a comfortable win.
Drew Haffner led the Rocks in scoring with 14 points, followed by Durante Morton with 13, Brock Detamore with 12, Will Harvey with 10, and Jalen Malone with 7.
With the win, Westfield showcased its strong conference form and looks to carry the momentum forward in their next matchup.
