The Westfield girls’ varsity swimming and diving team outlasted neighboring rival Noblesville, earning a hard-fought 100-85 victory in a closely contested meet Friday night.
The Westfield men’s team came up short in their effort, but the Rock women’s strong performances secured the overall win for the evening.
Event winners for Westfield included standout performances from both teams:
- Zach Welch: 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle
- Evie Wheat: 200 Individual Medley, 100 Butterfly
- Kiarra Thomas: 50 Freestyle
- Garreth Thomas: 100 Butterfly
- Laney McCulloch: 500 Freestyle
Westfield also excelled in relays:
