Whitko Archery Competes at 2025 CNAC League Shoot

Whitko Archery participated in the 2025 Central Noble Archery Club (CNAC) League Shoot, represented by 29 archers spanning all three divisions: Elementary (11), Middle School (12), and High School (8).

Although Whitko did not field a full team — which requires 12 archers (4 female, 4 male, and the next 4 highest scorers) — the school performed well individually against 17 schools from Indiana and Ohio. Among the 282 competitors (142 female, 140 male), many Whitko archers achieved personal bests.

Top individual finishes for Whitko included:

Elementary Division:

•Melanie Napier – 4th place elementary female

•Gwen Griffith – 10th place elementary female

Middle School Division:

•Sydney Napier – 1st place middle school female, 1st place overall female, 1st place overall

High School Division:

•Kendal Bollinger – 1st place high school male, 2nd place overall male, 5th place overall

Up Next for Whitko Archery:

The Wildcats will host the 2025 Whitko-Indiana NASP State Bullseye & 3D Qualifiers on Jan. 19 at Whitko Career Academy, with flights scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature 10 schools and 197 archers in the bullseye competition, as well as six schools and 133 archers in the 3D event.

Scores from this and other state qualifying tournaments will determine who advances to the 2025 Indiana NASP State Tournaments. Qualified individuals and teams will be announced on Feb. 7, 2025.
